I would think that Lapo has a very good chance to get this job.

LAPO is a great guy albeit I'm wondering if he's a better OC as opposed to HC?

Yet he's smart enough to have learned from his past mistakes and make the most of them.   He most likely will  be even better at it this time round AND he did lead us to a Grey Cup in 2011 AND lead our offence to another Cup this season.   Also working with HC MOS will only benefit him.    Good Luck LaPo and all the best!!

Tough shoes to fill!!

Buck would definitely get the promotion.

Hope Lapo gets it. I think he could do well in Ottawa.

I?d be wary of the Ottawa job given that they don?t have a qb.

The first question will Lapo get along with the redbacks GM.

Now if Lapo takes that job and MOS decides to move to Toronto then what do we do.

Mos likes taking his time deciding what his next move will be, like when we were looking for assistances he waited until most were gone. Why hasn't Mos signed a contract yet, I just hope he doesn't leave us with no one.

Riders have asked permission to interview Maas for the OC position, maybe they're finally done with McAdon't.

Honestly, I don't mind LaPo going...  he's earned another shot at being HC.

If he does go, I would think Pierce would get a shot at being OC before we should go to Maas.  I think Buck has earned a spot at OC on our team.

Not sure Lapo will/should go to be a HC.  He's a better OC.  Is the money really that much more?  What are we talking about here, OC:$250 HC:$400?  (I have no idea, just guessing.)  Are the HC headaches worth the extra $$?  Look at MOS vs Lapo during the playoff run.  MOS aged like 10 years, and got no sleep -- look at his face!  Lapo looked fresh and chipper the whole time.  OC job is cushy compared to HC.  Plus, stay in WPG and you can keep winning, go to a tire fire and you're likely to get Claybrooksed.

One thing almost no one has said yet re: the GC, is: Thanks Lapo!!  You called a darn good game when we were on the field.  Some of the misdirections and schemes were so much fun to watch.  And we understand you had to get a bit more conservative once we were up 2 scores (which was much of the game).  FGs kept driving the nail in slowly quarter after quarter.  People focussed so much on Hall because he was bawling, and because so many were so hard on Hall in the season, that Lapo was sort of overlooked after the GC.  Note to Lapo: Next GC, cry like a baby after the win!  Wink
