Cool story here about a British BB fan making the trip over for the Banjo Bowl. The team definitely has to win, now.  Wink

I didn't fly over the "Big Pond" to get to Winnipeg, but, I did fly over "The Land of 10,000 Lakes" last year to attend the Banjo Bowl... does that count?  lol...

Oh yeah! I travel from the center of Canada... oh, right. Sounds good though. Wink

I love his dedication to the Canadian game and his reason for making the trip.

I assume you are talking about the Big Smoke. Good to see you here supporting the finest club in the league.

I'm pretty sure he meant Center of Canada = Winnipeg (or just a hair east of it!)

I could be wrong though.

P.S. TOR just thinks they are the center of Canada.

Ya I know that is why I think he meant Toronto because he said travel.

One of my sons, a huge football fan, lives in England, and I sent him this article. He says he needs to look this guy up and make friends with him - Nottingham is only 130 kms. from his place.

First chance I've had to check back.
You are correct. If you go about 20-25 kilometer east of the Peg there is signage marking the official center of Canada. Sorry for the confusion.
