When TSN shows stats they show passing yards,  rushing yards and net yards. What does net yards encompass?

Net yards is the re-calculation accounting for team losses: sacks or tackles behind LOS.

To clarify for the OP: net yards = pass yards + rush yards - lost yards behind LOS.

Do during-play accepted penalties get subtracted from the net yards?  Like a procedure call cost a team 5 net yards on the stat sheet?

How about an O benefiting from DPI?  Let's say it's a 40y DPI.  Does the O get 40y in the net yards?

My hunch is "no", otherwise stat sheets should/could have massive disparities between pass+rush and net yards.
