Does anyone have any info on the extent of Nichols' injury?

I believe he had his bell rung but expect him to play the next game.  If it wasn't for concussion protocol he would have taken a sniff of salt and been back out there for the next series.

Precautionary measures?

Thanks, this was my thought as well.

Did anyone listen to his post-game media scrum?  Irving said he was going to be available but I was unable to catch it.

Thing with concussions is it could easily seem like he's going to be available this week when the game's over and then change once they start practicing this week. They are tricky. But if I had to guess, I'd expect him to be ready next week

Thanks - he gave a lucid interview and wasn't wearing sunglasses.   Wink

He's fine...no way he would have done interviews if it was serious...he was lucid and smiling...
He'll be ok

He will be available for the Argos.

That being said, if I were the Bombers, I would play him maximum the first half, or until we are up by 21.  Then plan to put Streveler in for the remainder of the game.  He could use the reps and Nichols doesn?t need to play a full game against Toronto.

Streveler has to learn to slide also, he won't have a long career taking defensive players on all the time.

Hope Matt isn't out too long.
