Yes, glad this was mentioned. Very unfortunate to see Brady Oliveira sustain such a brutal injury. But here's hoping Augustine sees some game reps spelling Harris. He looked very good in limited touches last season and through camp.

Any idea if we are bringing another RB onto the practice roster?  .... or just roll with Demski as emergency RB?

Well it will probably be Augustine up. Who goes on the PR is anyone's guess. We could make a second move and put a guy like Hallett down and bring up, say, Griffiths (my ideal moves). Or we just IR Olivera, bring up Augustine and put a different Canadian on the PR. A guy like Schrot would be worth it

Yeah, its a given that Augustine is being brought up.  I was just asking if we are going to roll with Demski as our 3rd RB, or if anyone knows if we are adding another active RB to the practice roster....

Unless the team is happy with Demski as the 3rd RB, I would guess we bring in a 3rd. I am not sure if it's possible but Santiago looked good.

Augustine looked good everytime he has had a chance, I don't expect him to see the ball much anyhow.

Olivera, yikes I hope it was more bone and less soft tissue damage, good luck in re-hab

Gaitor also went down. Looks like Rios is playing SAM. I swear if we play Fenner (a natural SAM/ safety) at CB (where he has sucked. Perhaps the worst CB in the league so far) in lieu of putting literally anyone at corner and pushing him (keep in mind we signed him to play SAM) to SAM, Hall and MOS will sure look stupid if he gets toasted yet again

didn't take Harris long to decide who he was going to pick on all night, did it? lol... I saw somewhere that Fenner was targeted 22 times by him, everyone else was in single digits if I'm remembering all of this correctly...

And how'd that work out for him?  I think we... ummm... won.

Lol. So we should change nothing then? Not even replacing the CB who was targeted 15 times for 11 completions and 150 yards and 7 (!) penalties in 2 games.

But yeah we won so who cares about all that

Fenner had a brutal game. He has to either vastly improve or he will play himself out of a job very quickly.

There is not a team or coach ever that did not try to improve every game, every day7.  Of course you address situations.  BUt changing something that works for the sake of change and optics, no.

Any player on this team either performs or gets an apple and a roadmap.  We have players scouted and ready to come in to our PR, we have players on our PR that are learning the system and pushing the AR backups, and AR backups are there waiting for the opportunity to start.  When a backup exceeds the starters capabilities, either through his own improvement, or the starters decline, he will get a chance to start.

In the meantime, yes, winning. Keep that up, and the rest works itself out.

Some of the penalties called on Fenner have been pretty weak and ticky tack...this week tho if Gaitor is out pretty sure we see Fenner back at SAM and most likely Rios at the corner, so we should see some improvement there as Fenner at worst is a more than capable SAM

I'd be good with that. I'm not loving the Fenner at corner experiment so far.

I agree. But still. And also, it's looking like Rios is moving to SAM

Its not for the sake of change or optics though. It's for the sake of the team. 11 receptions for 150 yards is awful. The guy who gave up the 2 Whitehead TDs didn't even have as many yards.

I think Fenner is still playing old school CB relying too much on his physicality, if it was before the "no touch" rules he might be more effective.  As it is, move him to another position or reduce him to ST's until he clues in.
