Not my thing but I bet the show will be awesome. Looking at his tour page, stops are quite few and far between. Good for Regina. For revenue's sake, it's too bad IGF couldn't have scored this. There will be plenty of Manitobans making the 5 hour trek though.

Something to think about, might be a nice little trip with out the kids. But if he sets a date for Winnipeg, I would for sure go. He is one heck of a good entertainer.

The concert is in the middle of the 50th anniversary of the Regina Folk Festival...talk about stealing the thunder...

Not a country fan, but my wife loves Garth.  Saw him in Edmonton a few years back.  Phenomenal showman.  And to quote Homer Simpson ?No new crap?.  Just the hits.  All night long.

He was here with wife Trisha a couple years ago. Did 4 shows in 2 nights....and it sucked.
