Toronto made a smart choice by keeping this kid, Donald De La Haye, even if it's only on the PR...

the kid is a kicker who once played for Central Florida, that is until the NCAA got involved and made him pick between keeping his athletic scholarship at UCF or continue posting videos on YouTube... De La Haye and garnered enough subscribers and views to start getting paid for clicks on his videos... NCAA said that violated NCAA rules and he'd have pick one or the other...

but if the Argos don't keep this kid on the roster, they need to get him a job in media relations... or maybe Ambrosie ought give this kid a call... his last video he posted on YouTube, his debut as a professional football player for the Argos, has over 1.1M views and was the #1 trending video when uploaded and is still #39... plus this kid has over 1.5M subscribers...

in comparison, the Argo's official YouTube channel has 4,500 subscribers and most recent upload only 5,400 view... in fact, De La Haye's last video views is more than all of the Argo video views for all videos since inception...

not to mention, one of his videos show him kicking a 75 yard field goal!  it is suggested that it was aided by the wind, but it's still 75 yards!

but the kid is well spoken and seems to be able to connect to people... keeping this kid in the CFL and posting CFL related videos will allow the CFL to possibly strike a cord with all those millennial... best part of it is, as of now it cost them nothing...

His videos are great quality.

Hopefully his kicking game is as strong as his YouTube one.  CFL needs to let this continue...

Question is, will it get more people in the stands at BMO? Answer: Likely no.

the Argo's official YouTube channel has 4,500 subscribers

They don't even have that many season ticket holders, do they?  Wink

I don't even think the Bombers have a YouTube channel...
