I see that Justin has been released by the Ticats, he is a national on defence, should we be interested? I don't know his age or what he would expect for salary?

I'm guessing no. We drafted 3 DL and our DL overall is very good. Capicciotti is not a need and probably wants more than we're willing to pay in an area of strength.

No because we only carry nat DEs if they play STs. We have 3 American starting quality ends, whether or not Kongbo is good to go by week one, no

I think if we signed Cappiciotti we would all end up very frustrated with that side of the DL... right now we have 2 stud international DE's...lets use them

I see no point in signing Capiciotti at this time. If he remains unsigned and we run into ratio problems due to injuries during the season then maybe....but right now...pass.

If this were next year and we were to lose one of our stud DEs and wanted to go Nat at DE with Kongbo the heir apparent, then it might be a good idea, and have those two platoon on that side.

This year though there is no point of taking a substantial SMS hit for a player who won't see the field.

Not sure how we justify the price tag. He'd be a good pick-up if he was willing to play for something close to league minimum, but so would a lot of players and that's just not the reality. We probably would have taken a serious look back in free agency since we knew Trent Corney wouldn't be back.

Meh, I classify Capiciotti in the same category as Keith Shologan, solid NI's pluggers but not quite worth the price they are asking.

Yeah, put me in the meh crowd, too. Not really a need for him, IMO.

Plus if the ratio rules go down or are changed at all, he may be a relatively useless player on most rosters.
