The Raptor's took a chance on Kawhi to win a Championship. They won and now Kawhi moves on. Still a few top players still out there.

Both factors are in play.  It's big business.  I'm just reflecting on on a past era when players displayed some loyalty to their team if their team treated them fairly.

Apparently we're not completely past that, as Kevin Labanc just signed one of the most team friendly deals I've seen in quite a while.
