Easiest transition would be Buck Pierce.

I don't know if that's a good idea or a bad idea, but it certainly would be the easiest transition.

At this point I would think it is a good idea.... he has been coaching for the Bombers for 4 seasons and knows the system well.... I would give him a shot.

If Lapo would get an HC gig somewhere, I would like us to take a look at Condell as a possible OC.

Would rather not roll with a rookie at such a critical coaching position...I have zero knowledge on how compentant a coach Buck is though - could be a star in the making.

Is Buck a good coach?  Co-ordinator is a different gig...  it is one thing to implemnent a plan, its a whole different thing to create it.

One way or the other, I like the idea of Dressler as Rec coach if Lapo leaves...

Honestly Pierce would probably somewhat carry over LaPos scheme. Plus he's been on the sidelines for LaPo for the past little while.

First Dressler has to retire which so far it looks like he wants to keep playing

In a TSN article they have LaPo winning a Grey Cup in 2011!

"Prior to being brought back as Winnipeg's offensive coordinator in 2016, LaPolice served as the Bombers head coach from 2010 to 2012, winning a Grey Cup in 2011."

If only it were true...lol!

I don't want Pierce if he's going to be Lapo lite. I would prefer a guy who has his own schemes and ideas.

Really though it's not for sure that Lapo is gone nor do I know what Buck brings to the table. It will be interesting to see how operations cap impacts who we can get. It may come down to where guys want to live or who they want to work with now.  A lot of unknowns right now.

I think Buck would go with him and be his OC in Toronto.

I dunno. I think Buck likes it here. He could have gone to Montreal last year as OC and stayed here
