CFL.CA transactions listed yesterday. Two of the newer additions released. Releasing Walker after all season on the PR?  I guess he's not getting an invite to TC 2020??

2019-10-23   WPG   ALLISON, Jalen      N      Remove Unsigned   Free Agent
2019-10-23   WPG   VOGELER, John   LB   A   Bemidji State   Remove Unsigned   Free Agent

Kenny Walker was on the Bomber bench for the game tonight.

Those 3 still show on the PR roster. Doesn't mean that officially they haven't been released but it appears that way.

They can't continue to practice but they may be re-signed after the season to TC contracts. We seem to bring back about half of the players that ended up on the PR.

I noticed that we added Eki and Griffith to the 1 game IR. That is more of retention for 2020 than actual injury IMO.

We don't really know the actual injury status of players on the 1 game IR. Who will be healthy in two weeks: Streveler, Gaitor, Fenner, Remple, Briggs and Roh are also in the mix of potential choices for change.

On the remote chance we finish in 1st we'd have 1 more week of getting healthy!!! lol

I believe there is no mathematical way we can still finish first with any tie combination. Second at best if Calgary loses next weekend which is a remote shot.

Another poster pointed out the how. The tie break is the win / loss record against each other and that would favor us @ 3-3. Calgary would be 3-2 and Riders 2-3. Our series win over the Stamps would put us in 1st.

We only need 3 games to go our way ending up for losses to Regina and Calgary to end in a tie.

Possible. Not probable.

a) That scenario was possible a week ago, but not after EDM blew it vs SSK.  Now SSK is guaranteed 1st or 2nd.
b) The tie-break if all 3 finished 11 (again, now impossible) would put us 2nd, not first.  As soon as they move to the win/loss percentage vs 3 teams, the "series win" is irrelevant.  CGY would have been 1st there because we would get "screwed" for having played 1 more game with the top-3 teams.

We can still finish 2nd with a Calgary loss this weekend.

Once again the potential roster changes going into the WSF are going to be interesting. Fenner, Gaitor, Roh, Briggs, Rempel and Streveler are all possible additions onto the game day AR.

Which of those are actually healthy for a role at starter or back up we might get some indication of who is taking 1st team reps.

He's probably American, the CFL just does a poor job in updating the transactions page.
