Message clearly sent to Walker, he was cut and placed back on the PR for his performance in Hamilton.

WPG Blue Bombers   @Wpg_BlueBombers
The club has released Alex Morrison and Jamar McGloster from the practice roster.

Darrin Bauming   @DarrinBauming
The #Bombers make two practice roster moves, releasing Canadian receiver Alex Morrison and American O-lineman Jamar McGloster. The latter indicates offensive tackle Darrell Williams has captured Winnipeg's reserve American O-lineman job since joining the team six weeks ago.
Kinda old but McGloster signed with the Chargers. Maybe he didn't actually lose the backup job?

It was said that McGloster was more of a G than an OT. We don't use an import guard. Our import OL on the PR needs to be able to step in at OT, our Canadians are the depth at C and G.

Besides getting an NFL TC offer doesn't mean he survives being cut. Just another TC body at the moment.

I dont know who said that but it's the opposite. McGloster is a pure tackle.

Sure it doesn't mean anything more than a TC body but regardless its surprising to see a CFL cut sign in the NFL again. Of course he might've wanted out of here, who knows

Yes, now it all makes sense.  It seemed a little weird we cut our first-in-line IMP OL backup.  Dude had NFL sniffs and wanted out.  Canadian Mafia never stands in a guy's way.

Janke transferred back to IR? How is that possible. He didn't even dress for the game after being activated. I guess that means Wright will come back on.

WPG Blue Bombers   @Wpg_BlueBombers
The team has released national linebacker DJ Lalama.

DJ Lalama   @DJLalama
I made a tough decision today, but God has me on the right path. You only live this life once, so BET ON YOURSELF ✊

Thank you  @Wpg_BlueBombers for the opportunity. Great organization, great locker room, great fans! Wishing y'all nothing but success. Thanks for the memories ✌️

Jeff Hamilton  @jeffkhamilton
#Bombers released linebacker and Winnipeg native DJ Lalama late Tuesday. Lalama was being re-assigned to the practice roster but respectfully refused, resulting in his release. Good guy with a strong work ethic. Hopefully see him on another CFL roster.

Darrin Bauming   @DarrinBauming
Chris Humes, injured in Winnipeg?s last game, is out this week. Mercy Maston once again replaces him at field halfback.

Cody Speller has been battling something he got nicked with vs Calgary. He's on the roster, but the #Bombers have insurance on their active roster with Tui Eli

Team-issued depth and injured lists as 1-7 #BCLions visit 6-2 #Bombers.

Guard Cody Speller remains in question. DB Chris Humes joins Winnipeg's growing 6-Game Injured List, with Marcus Rios seemingly the only one closing in on a return.

Ted Wyman   @Ted_Wyman
Here is #Bombers roster for game against #BCLions on Thursday at IG Field. DB Chris Humes goes to six-game injured list and Mercy Maston replaces him as starting halfback. Cody Speller listed as starting left guard but Tui Eli also on roster in case he can't go. #CFL

Jeff Hamilton   @jeffkhamilton
#Bombers depth chart ahead of Thursday's game vs. B.C. Lions. IN: DB Mike Jones; OL Asotui Eli OUT: DB Chris Humes; DJ Lalama (released Tuesday). #wfp

BOMBERS SIGN OL ROGERS, LB TAYLOR

WINNIPEG, MB., August 19, 2019 -   The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has added American offensive lineman Na'ty Rodgers and American linebacker Nick Taylor to the practice roster.

Rodgers (6-5, 300, Houston, February 3, 1995, Pomfret, MD) signed with the Alouettes in 2018 and played in 10 games after being released by Winnipeg in training camp. Rodgers was a four-star recruit coming out of high school, transferred out of South Carolina in November 2014 and spent that past season at Iowa Western Community College.

Taylor (5-10, 165, Florida International, March 27, 1988, Hollywood, FL) had 46 tackles and a sack in 14 starts with the Eskimos last season. Taylor spent a season at a minor arena football league before participating at FIU's Pro Day  which eventually got him signed with the Vikings in 2013.
