He made a mistake and owned up to it. That's good enough for me. Players say all kinds of things of the field that never get picked up. I guess coaches are held to a higher standard but the reality is we often say things we don't mean or shouldn't say in the heat of the moment.

Say what you want, but racist or nationalist comments have no place on the football field.

It was just stupid. What he said didn't make a lick of sense at all.

He's always been a wiener, though. And can never own up to the garbage he spews.

I guess so. I watch the news and think/say 'stupid Americans' almost every time. I get that it's different but I'm not offended by it and I'm not sure I want to judge him for saying it.

He knew he was miked up for the game so it was actually much stupider than it seems.

Was he, or was it simply a case of the camera being right in front of him and picking it up (which would be just as stupid because he was almost looking right at it)?

How about the part where the camera did a close up of a Bomber Lineman scratching his privates on the big screen. All nice and super close up and all!

LOL

Seriously, the Bombers need to market this Canadian Mafia thing for next season.
I agree. The Bombers need to use this when Calgary comes here next year. Like Brock Busters when Dieter Brock came here after he was traded to Hamilton. To this day everytime I hear the Ghost Busters theme all I can think of is Brock Busters.  Cheesy

According to 3down...Dickenson was fined by the CFL for his comment.

http://3downnation.com/2018/11/20/cfl-fines-stamps-head-coach-dickenson-for-expletive-canadian-mafia-comment/

Clearly, dissing the nationality of the league did not go over well.

Lots of time to get my Halloween costume ready for next year:

- Stamps cap
- Stamps tshirt
- Play calling sheet
- Headset
- Diaper
- Pacifier (optional)

Hahaha!

He's from Montana.

Yeah  he would be some dorky hick in Montana.

We really need to embrace the Canadian Mafia...I love it.

Maybe they will make Bighill an offer that he cannot refuse.

I know the "creative" has been done on the renewal campaign, but I think the ticket base would love some "Canadian Mafia" shirts available for purchase.
