Sure has been a lot of chat about Dickenson's comment on the sideline...

I say wear it with a badge of honour.  Even though I knew if you asked me I didn't really recognize how rare it is to have a 'C'FL team run by Canadians.

Good on the Bombers!

- Stamps tshirt
- Play calling sheet
- Headset
- Diaper
- Pacifier (optional)

Zero class.

Funniest part is that he thinks they were being picked on by the refs or something, when the officiating was probably equally terrible, if not going the other way entirely.

Bob Irving thought the Stamps got the better of the officiating. He's seen a few games in his time.

Honestly, the weirdest thing I have ever witnessed said by a CFL head coach.

Weird, inaccurate, lacking smarts.

Must be something in the Alberta water, DD has always been like this even in his playing career, there are classier ways of getting your point across.

I thought it was a totally classless and disrespectful comments made towards all Canadians. Is that when he really thinks of Canadians? Him he?s made his living here for the last 20 years in Canada and that?s what he thinks of us? I have absolutely zero respect for him in anything to do with the Calgary stampede.

There should be a formal apology on behalf of stampeders made towards all Canadians!!!

Watch the post-game interviews on the Stamps. site, both Dick and BLM have the "us against the world" mentality, no positive vibes coming from either of those interviews even after a big victory.  It appears they're not even loved at home.

I agree, although none needed for me as I am not offended by his comment in the context it was used.  I have a distinct feeling I'm against the grain on this though. Obviously he didn't intend for the comment to be heard, but it was. It's a different technological world now and he got caught with his guard down, and that happens a lot lately with public figures.  I don't think that's what he really thinks of Canadians, just something that came out in the heat of the moment, somewhat in jest. It's an embarrassing moment for him that will likely follow him for a long time. But yes I do feel that, in the interest of maintaining a positive relationship between Americans and Canadians, he should apologize to all Canadians publicly.

I was pretty cranked about this when it happened. Heat of the game after all. It seems like Dickenson and MOS spoke about this and MOS had a great response. Good on him.

I liked Dickenson as a player, but the live mic has really exposed guys like him and Maas with respect to their sideline demeanour. Don't care for either of them as coaches, but whatevs. It's his cross to bear.

Huge difference on their sideline when Huffer went upstairs.

Calgary thinks everyone wants them to lose. They lose quite a bit when they make it to the Grey Cup. \Dickinson thinks his team is so good they are hated by everyone. What a farce. I guess that's his pre game speech, But to be the best you have beat the rest. And they couldn't beat Toronto or Ottawa... And they probably will lose again.

Dickerson or whatever his name is a an *******.
He makes his living in this country and he calls OShea ficken  Canadian!   He did use the swear word.
If I were his owner i would release him immediately after the Grey Cup

I couldn't believe his statement involved " *******" Canadian.

If not for the CFL he's some hick farmer in Idaho.

He made a mistake and owned up to it. That's good enough for me. Players say all kinds of things of the field that never get picked up. I guess coaches are held to a higher standard but the reality is we often say things we don't mean or shouldn't say in the heat of the moment.

Was he, or was it simply a case of the camera being right in front of him and picking it up (which would be just as stupid because he was almost looking right at it)?

According to 3down...Dickenson was fined by the CFL for his comment.

Clearly, dissing the nationality of the league did not go over well.

Well folks you know what this means?

First home game vs. Calgary next year is MAFIA NIGHT !!

Pin stripped suits, violin cases, wing-tips, molls !

The Bomber's marketing dept. should be all over this. Casino tailgate party for charity, free Bomber black shades for the first 1,000 through the gate.MOS,Walters, and Miller arrive in a long black limo.

Get O'Shea to buy in by wearing a pin-striped zoot suit and a fedora to roam the sidelines, he'd terrify the officials.

Suit would definitely need to be blue with gold pin stripes

As Tweeted by the Bombers, an excerpt from Stanley Bryant's acceptance speech:

"Most importantly, I can't forget the big three - Mike O'Shea, Wade Miller and Kyle Walters - best known as the Canadian Mafia."

That. Is. AWESOME.  Cheesy
Adam Bighill mentioned it in his speech also.
I like the Canadian Mafia title. If I were the Bombers, I'd run with it. Shirts. Mafia night. Whatever else the marketing staff can come up with.
This could be a goldmine for the Bombers.

Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming

So these are a thing.

This exact t-shirt was gifted to each of Miller, Walters, and O?Shea here at #GreyCup in Edmonton. The one and only Carol the over-qualifies model. @Wpg_BlueBombers #Bombers 🇨🇦🐴

I love it. Miller looks like a don and of course O'Shea is in his shorts. Cheesy

Their t-shirt game is weak.

The Miller silhouette is perfect, the Walters one is a little kid like, yes, he is a youthful M, and does wear hoodies...  the O'Shea one is odd, looks like he's wearing workboots and gloves... not sure about that...

I actually thought the hoodie one was OShea and Walters was the one in the centre.... Undecided. Hard to tell when they are both wearing shorts...

I bought a royal blue one at the Bomber Store tonight. IMO not a bad price $19.99 or $16.99 if you're a STH. It looked to me like they were selling pretty fast.

Dickenson apologized for the comment and said it had nothing to do with Canadians in general.

?Lesson learned, I apologize to anyone,? Dickenson said Monday in Calgary. ?I texted Mike afterwards. It had nothing to do with [Mike] personally,

Hold on Dickerson... can't have it both ways.  You're not getting off that easily.  The above nonsense... what are you, a politician?  If it had nothing to do with the general, and nothing to do with the specific, what precisely did it have to do with?

I have no respect for Dickenson now, and no respect for the CGY franchise as long as it employs him.

Great shirts though!  I agree this theme should feature prominently for the Bombers in '19.  You can never go wrong with Godfather references.  This one might have the longevity of the Banjo Bowl comment!!

When we finally beat CGY in a playoff game, we can print shirts showing the WFC Corleone family standing over the vanquished Salazzo, Barzini and Roth Stamps.
