Ottawa gets to play an 8-10 Hamilton team in the putrid east

Ottawa also came from "not even being in existence"
to go to the Grey Cup 3 years out of 5

Do we have the cash for Reilly, Harris, Bighill, Santos Knox and our O-line?  Something would have to give.

Sure you could sign Reilly. What you save when you dump Nichols will cover a pretty good chunk of what you'd need for Mike Reilly. Nichols was grossly overpaid this year. That is evident.

terrible idea, develop Strev and ride Nichols out

Good plan. Could make us a contender by 2021 or so.

A team with a philosophy of winning would sign Reilly and develop Strev, but hey, that's not our style.

PJ your boy Matty could get it done, not today and not in the future. Your beating a dead horse.

Mitchell and Reilly are probably going to sign with another league. But I would make an offer to Reilly. And make a good offer. Make it high enough that if we don't get him Edmonton will have to pay a lot. They would have signed Mitchell and Reilly already,  at least one of them but since the new league is starting.

Reilly has a lot of miles on him and this year for the first time, he started losing the close games that he used to pull out of the fire.  Too much risk for the dollars he will get.

Even if Reilly were to sign here, he'd need better receivers to catch his passes.

29 years and counting LOSRPEG.
We should get T shirts made.

Ottawa in league five years,  and four Grey cup games.....hmm

Can we trade the franchise to Halifax and be an expansion franchise?

Man, your comments on this forum are just trash.

Doubt that....why sign in a league to make less than half that they would here...and no job security as that league could fold after a season. Reily's NFL window is loooooong gone...and BLM may try....but can't see him sticking as a clip board holder...if he can't land a starting gig...or back-up I doubt he stays down there...if he even tries

Reilly will go to Calgary next year as Mitchell will be heading to the NFL. At least for awhile anyways.
