I saw an ad on TSN saying the playoffs this Sunday would be shown TSN network wide (something like that) but the Shaw listings show them ONLY on TSN1, TSN4 and TSN5  channels that not everyone gets.  Does anyone know what is going on?

I don't know, but I was only able to see the last half of the Calgary game because of the Jets game. So I'm back on the I hate TSN and everyone who works there bandwagon.

Oh, I have it. I happened to be watching with my parents that day, who only have a basic cable package.

It's weird that Shaw gives you TSN2 or TSN3 and not TSN1. I always thought that TSN1 was the primary channel and the others just had random other stuff...probably Shaw's way of trying to make you upgrade your package.

That being said, I don't even think *any* TSN is available on Telus' basic or lite package. They make you add it.

I think this is a "find a friend with a sports package" moment and invite yourself over for a party Wink

I'm surprised that it's not on TSN3 as this is the regional channel for MB and SK. I'm fortunate to be on Bell/MTS where I get all the feeds. When I was in the hospital I had Shaw and it was so frustrating because all I got was TSN3. If I wanted to watch one of the other channels I had to get out my cell phone where I was able to pick them up on the internet.

As if by magic, I turned on the tv tonight to find all the TSN channels on free preview. It wasn't like that last night.

I did complain by email to shaw and tsn this morning, don't know if it helped.

Anyway, heads up that it will be on but not the usual channel.

Formula 1 is being shown on one of them: I think 212 bluesky?

I had to do some extra work with the PVRs to make sure I get both F1 and all the CFL this weekend.  Maybe my McLaren will win.  Hahaha

There's also a pregame show with a different name than usual that I had to manually record.  Might have to do the same.

Makes no sense to use the feed on TSN 3, the primary one in the prairies for hillbillie racing.

F1 is "hillbillie"?  Surely you jest.  You must be thinking Nascar.

Nothing hillbillie is $300+ a ticket (cheap seats!).  The top F1 drivers make more $$ than any hockey player or NFL player.

I think the question is why is TSN using the prairie feed to broadcast car racing when a playoff game between the two teams from the prairies is on.

They appear to have opened up the other channels for those who don't pay for them. There will be no conflict.
