Listen up please Bomber Fans. I know it's not a guarantee the game is in Regina, but it's pretty darn close to it. Thing is, can we afford to wait around a week to find out? If we do, we run the risk of getting shut out. As a matter of fact, that's exactly what they're pushing here.

For those who would be inclined to go the game, I am not going to tell you what to do, just giving you the heads up and fair warning. On the off chance the game does turn out to be the Western Final, the Bombers would be there anyways right? Decide for yourself what the right thing to do is.

I'm almost certainly going, whether it's the WSF (likely) or WF.  I'm not really sure how they're selling the tickets without knowing the date yet, but I guess they figured it out (computer-wise).

I'll wait until we know who wins the CGY game.  I'm not too concerned about there being no tickets left.  Between the resale seats on ticketmaster (that IGF seems to disable) and stubhub, I'm sure there'll be tix.  Especially if I go alone, there's always singles.  They also have some very high-priced seats ($200-$400) that often have trouble selling, especially when they come up for resale.

Keep in mind Mosaic holds like a million people.

And the forecast shows Nov 11 as being the coldest day in weeks.  There'll be a lot of fans getting cold feet at the last minute when they see how cold it will be, just like the do in Winnipeg.

I think the harder problem will be getting a hotel room!

So I'll wait.  But if you want 2+ seats together, ya, you might want to lock in your seats earlier.

There will lots of resale seats available as older fair weather season ticket holders do not attend past mid October.

Heads-up if the game is on Sunday Nov. 18th, Canadian Western Agribition ( Massive Agriculture Event ) starts on Monday Nov. 19th, so hotels will be getting tight.

I have extra tickets available for either date.

Wow.... I guess I never compared the numbers before.  How come the toilet bowl looks so huge on TV, especially the helicopter views?  The ends and corners just seem to go on forever both out and up.

What's causing the optical illusion?  The seats bigger or something?

Weird.

I just can't see Calgary losing this game. BC having nothing to play for. Calgary with a bye and home field at stake. Hoping to attend the game in regina as it seems like it will be WSF. Hoping to go with a buddy but will go alone otherwise. Would drive up Sunday morning, leave at 7am, as WSF is almost certainly going to be the 3:30 kick (2:30 in regina, I guess, unless there are daylight savings time impacts). There are a ton of regular priced seats on tv side of upper deck for $73 with fees. And some for $47.50 on the 10 yard line/goal line. Hopefully can find a less expensive air bnb if I decide to go. Went to LDC in 2017 and had a great time (besides the outcome of the game) and this opportunity to see the Bombers win the first playoff game at Mosaic seems too good to pass up.

I think BC is a better team than Calgary especially at home. . I think Saskatchewan might get the final. Which doesn't really matter. Would be good if they had a bunch of buses , now with buses not running anymore, must even be be harder to schedule going to games.

Both of our end zones seat people and are 1 "level" high.... at Mosaic, they only routinely seat people in one of the end zones that is 2 "levels" high, which probably makes the stadium look fuller because the end zone you see is higher and fuller - their other end zone is usually empty and is made of brick and only seats people for bigger events.

There is definitely an illusion that makes it look very big. In addition to Norlene's comments, I also think the lower bowl is larger than ours while their upper deck is smaller, making it look like the upper deck "doubles" a very large lower bowl (but is in fact often covered by the roof, especially for those aerial shots).

Tons'o'tickets for sale on both Ticketmaster and Stubhub.  TM has a zillion "verified resale" tickets up, as well as normal unsold tickets.  Because of the cold this will probably be a buyer's market come Sat & Sun.  I'm going to wait until the last second to snatch a hot deal!

Does anyone know if TM "verified resale" tickets can be sold for above face value?  There are discrepancies in price so they obviously allow sellers to manipulate price in some way.  I know Stubhub they list for whatever price they please, but I think TM has to follow local laws regarding scalping?

Also, their "AGT Club" seats (the ones with free food): can you just buy a ticket and show up or do you have to join some sort of club?  I guess that's like their version of Pinnacle Club (which I've never been to either).

Grab a package with All Star and you have no worries. Kick back and party with some great people. Leave tomorrow morning at 930 from the Howard Johnson on Portage. Return right after the game.

I found that you feel much further away from the field at Mosaic. I believe their seats do not have the same incline as ours. Even great seats feel like a million miles away. Winnipeg was built for viewing pleasure, Mosaic was built for concessions imo. Their stadium may seat the same, but there is some really lousy seats their.

Any person can buy AGT Club seats is they are available.   Includes a real nice buffet and non alcoholic drinks.

Riders play-off tickets are included with season tickets, so many just stay home and watch on TV.

Game day you will be able to pick-up excellant seats for half price.

I sold my 2 extra Club seats to a Bombers fan, we are meeting early to introduce ourselves and drink some Pilsners!

So he paid you for the tickets, and you are paying him for having to drink the Molson horse swill you call Pilsner?

You are much further away at Mosaic...the lower bowl has less grade to it, whereas here the bowl and the upper deck are closer and more on top of the field..which also makes for the louder crowds..from a player playing in similar stadiums and talking to many current ones the Winnipeg experience is more daunting and intimidating disruptive because the fans...and the noise are right on top of you...you almost feel it...where as in Mosaic it's just more of a constant drone but far less disruptive

great point I noticed that at the LDC this past year even know it was packed the noise was not as mind numbing as the shear rattle at IGF for the BB.

I'm pretty sure Ticketmaster verified resale tickets can be sold at any price. I was looking for Golden State Warrior tickets last year and some in the upper deck were asking over $500, I doubt that was below face value lol.
Ticketmaster has been scalping their own tickets for years. And if you buy a verified resale ticket they rack in the service fees of that ticket for a second time. Ticketmaster following laws? LOL

Ticketmaster adds extra pricing, they sometimes don't even know if they have tickets. If you go to the ticket wicket they say they are out but the website says they have tickets. They rather sell online this way they can charge extra for delivery.

That's good in a way. Stubhub butys tickets. I hope they get stuck with them.  This way benefits smaller crowd.

Yep, just another typical NAIL (north american industrial lager) beer. No different than blue, bud, canadian, etc.

Thanks for the info Ridermania!  Not sure where I'll sit yet, but I'll keep eyeing those AGT ones.  Bit pricey though.

Hey, do you know if those tiny roads/alleys directly to the west of Mosaic are passable on foot on game day?  I'm coming from the the hotel directly to the east and google maps/street view makes it look like I should be able to walk through those back areas rather than around the main street that goes around the north of the stadium.

Oops, I meant west, not east (I corrected it).  It's the Residence Inn on Pasqua which is directly west of Mosaic.  There's all these tiny streets / alleys that wind through the convention / arena area from what I can see on google maps.  I'm hoping to walk through those if they don't block them off for game day.  I would assume not because it looks like there's parking around there.

Thanks!

I am fairly sure you can just walk down Pasqua and thru to the exhibition grounds and the stadium from there.

Also, behind the Pasqua Hospital/Fire Station is a straight road/walk to the park.

Otherwise, just walk along Lewvan Drive a couple of blocks and enter from there.

Coors Light Party in the Park starts 2 hours before game time and is outdoors, directly beside Mosaic.

Pil Country is standing room only area for fans and you need a ticket to enter the area.

I guarantee the Pilsner will be extra ice cold on Sunday!

We tried that already at LDC with upper deck level tickets in hand and NO GO security would not let us in. I think they said our tickets weren?t premium enough. Thoughts?

It snowed about a half inch last night so need to wait until they clear it off later this morning before walk-thru's.

Sunday temperature is about minus 10 at game time, hope the wind stays down.

Gonna be a running game for both teams.

I sold off all my extra Pil Country tickets already but have them saved on my computer.

They won't get you into Mosaic Stadium, but flash them to security and you will get into Pil Country.

Send me a PM if you want!
