There?s a possibility that 4 teams can finish with a 10-8 record in the West.

Who do we cheer for next week? Clearly Calgary, but it seems that there's no real advantage to either Edmonton or BC winning for us at this point.

I guess we would like Edmonton to win. Sets BC up at .500, and forces them to win out. If SK loses to Calgary and we beat Calgary, SK will be determined to beat BC to host the playoff game. I could see Calgary throwing the game to BC in final week if it had the opportunity to keep us out. If we win one more, and BC loses one more, we are in!

But if BC wins, it burries Edmonton with the final game a  virtual playoff game for us in Edmonton if we lose to Calgary.

This is wild.

I wouldn't be smiling about that one. The Bombers go home in that scenario.

what a great league and season for it to come down to the final few games

cfl at it's best

even if we don't make the playoffs, I am happy with this team, our roster, management and coaches

got lots to improve on but also proved a lot and our team is better than last year even though our record isn't that great

Why not? Wouldn't that mean we get in because we hve the tiebreaker over BC?

Has any 9 win team in CFL history not made the playoffs?

It could easily (and will likely) happen this year. The West is too bunched together and one of us has to be bounced out.

I am pretty sure that if we win the Edmonton game, we're in, no matter what else happens in the next 2 weeks.

I really wanted Edmonton and BC to lose yesterday. At least one of them to give us some breathing room.

Things could still go sideways so we must continue to win.  Lions are playing very well at the moment. Edmonton isn't so I'm guessing they are on their way out. OTOH it's way to close for my liking.

Looks like if the Bombers beat Calgary they clinch at least 4th.
Edit: it depends on who wins the Edm BC game. If Edm wins that means 4 teams could still end up with 10 wins.

I'm cheering for BC to win next week as that would make things crazy between the Lions, Riders and Bombers.

However if the Riders beat Calgary they clinch 2nd. If they lose they can still place 4th.

based on this weekends play I really can not see the Riders beating Calgary. Their OL and injury situation is critical. And I think the Stamps will bounce back. And the Rider offense is just non existent.
