My Vikings are looking good.

A couple leaks in the secondary week 1 but I have to say they are solid. Cousins looks pretty comfortable. They could make some noise this year.

I love the Vikings, but they always break my heart.

The worst game in history was in January 99, after going 15-1 losing to the Falcons in OT, after Anderson (who and been perfect all year), missed an easy FG that would ahve put the game away.  2009 Bounty Bowl was hard for the ol' ticker too.

I did not even see the Minneapolis Miracle live.  I was so used to the Vikings choking that I walked away from the TV with a minute left, and thought it was an error, when I checked the TSN website, when the score displayed 29-24.

"What went into the decision to let (kicker) Daniel Carlson go?"

Mike Zimmer: Did you see the game?

"Was it an easy decision?"

Zimmer: Yeah, it was pretty easy.

Maher is now the kicker for the Cowboy's. I wonder where Bailey is?
