And against Hamilton and Henry Burris in Grey Cup 2011.

What are you talking about? The 2011 Grey Cup was WPG and BC. Huh

Sorry, sorry. I meant Grey Cup 101. Just looked it up and it was 2013. My fault.

Right, the year Chamblin took over the defense late in the season. Despite having a stacked roster on that side of the ball.

Well during a season, your team evolves,,and these seasonal, games tell you something about your team
you know the saying, " a leopard doesn't change his spots."

Clearly, we don't really know how to win.
Can you see OShea andLapo in a Grey Cup game?
Keystone Cops

Sim play....we should have  kicked the ball twice and we win ugly
Dah!

Obviously, that's not a fact. We did, however, play our best football early in the season last year and it didn't carry over when it counted so the start of a season isn't always the best predictor of eventual success or failure. We should have run the table on BC this year. It's too bad we didn't. The loss doesn't mean anything more than they beat us by a field goal at home. That's the way it goes sometimes and we won't be the only team to blow a game this year.

If this team is to be a legitimate contender they need to go on a run to prove to other teams that on most nights, against most teams they will come out on top consistently.  They haven't achieved that yet this year and they blew a great opportunity to get it started the other night.  As it stands now I expect they will split with the Argos in the next two and continue their current inconsistent trajectory until Labour Day.

I'd like that too. However here is the record of seven most recent Grey Cup winners:

2017, Toronto: 9 - 9
2016, Ottawa: 8 - 9 - 1
2015, Edmonton: 14 - 4
2014, Calgary: 15 - 3
2013, Saskatchewan: 11 - 7
2012, Toronto: 9 - 9
2011, BC: 11 - 7

Yea - you're right. He took over playcalling and that for the last few games and playoffs right?

They will choke as usual at Labour Day.  I usually go with a group, but, not one of us is even talking about it. Pretty sad.

Pretty sad, shopping in Fargo sounds more interesting! Yikes.

Why are you here posting all day discussing the Bombers, if shopping in Fargo is more interesting to you?

Bombers will be slightly better than 500 this year guaranteed, they will strengthen throughout the season and be competitive for the playoffs
