A Canadian DT really makes a lot of sense for us. I'm hoping.
Yep a combo of Mrabure and Ekakitie would be a solid starting Canadian option.

They've got the most expensive D-Line in the league, most likely.....

Not most likely. Definitely. Not a bad place to spend money either but Jones looks like he might really be testing the theory that pass rush is king.

Darn...Evans to the Riders actually improves their team. Unlike the other signing they have made.

Be careful, Blue and Gold 84 will probably attack you and accuse you of being a "Flat belly" because you said the Riders improved their team. Grin

Yea...gotta think that Evans will be in the 190-200k range...that's a boat load of cash just for a DL. Somethings gotta give SMS wise there...more than just Dennis.

🚨 MORE BEEF UP FRONT 🚨

#BCLions sign offensive lineman Jeremy Lewis ( @J_LEW68 ). He previously spent time in Hamilton and Montreal 💪

I think Steele is ideal. He's experienced and local. I want Thomas but Steele is choice #2, Mrabure #3 and Atkinson #4

I'm fully expecting Walters to upgrade there in free agency.

I will guess it is a reference with Sask being a flat province, but Blue and Gold 84 would have to answer that questions. I myself refer to Sask fans as "Gappers". It refers to that gap between Manitoba and Alberta. Troy Westwood (former Bomber place kicker) referred to them as "Banjo pickin inbreds", this is how the banjo bowl got its name.

Our secondary is not too bad right now. We need a different defensive system more than different talent.
