so is the general consenus that we are ok in the secondary? I don't see anyone talking about the secondary so I am curious...

Be assured nobody is happy with the secondary but have patience, F.A. sometimes takes a week or two to play out.

ok, I've been curious for a while, what is a 'flat belly'... is that the Canadian equivalent to a 'redneck'? lol...

A flatbilly could only dream to someday be a redneck.

Our secondary is not too bad right now. We need a different defensive system more than different talent.

I'll say this, we gave up the most passing yards in the league last year, 'not too bad' is really being kind...

No it's true...we used Loffler as a defacto LBer last year to help Hurl, and you just have to have your safety in coverage in this league or you're gonna get roasted. We could use someone to replace Heath, but other than that...we're OK.

I expected more of flurry of signings than what we have so far.

I'm surprised at nothing from Montreal yet.  Maybe players are just using them as leverage to take back to their preferred teams...

Last year most happened between 1-3 Winnipeg time.

The Alouettes announced on Tuesday that national receiver Seydou Junior Haidara will remain with the club as he has signed a new one-year deal.

Hopefully Loffler is 100% - he was playing nicked most of last season.

Last year the first few hours were real slow too. I'm thinking that maybe it's because there are so many players in play that teams take longer to make decisions on negotiations.

Darn...Evans to the Riders actually improves their team. Unlike the other signing they have made.

I agree.  This is addressing one of their biggest vulnerabilities on D.  They still have some spots in their secondary to fill, but there are a ton of guys still out there.
