From Dave Naylor: Hearing that permission for @kyhebert to speak to other teams is to establish market value for him to stay with the @MTLAlouettes. Apparently no intent to trade or release at this time. #CFL #Als

Sounds like Kyries Hebert is available....does he have one more year in him ??

I would pass as well. He is on the wrong side of his prime years. Better options out there imo.

Kyries would jump at chance to return to Wpg ala Bowman....He really liked it here but I'm afraid his best years have come and gone...Dean or Woods in fa would be my guess, and either player would fit in very nicely

No thanks.  Plus he beats women.  Zero chance Bombers sign him.

Has he really been convicted of beating more than one woman ?......one is totally bad enough but if it is more he shouldn't be playing...

1 is too many in my books, I don't respect the guy at all, couldn't care if he's the 2nd coming of Ray Lewis, pass. Dirt bags should be jail on on a football field. Speaking of convicts, how's Ray Rice doing anyways??

When we first signed him back in (2005 or 2006?), he couldn?t get across the border because he had tried to drown his girlfriend. She eventually dropped the charges so he was able to come north and sign a contract. He was never charged, I don?t think.

He tried to drown his girlfriend in their bathtub because of an argument over a cell phone bill.

So this goes back more than ten years? Has there been any instances or reporting of such activity recently? I mean don't get me wrong what he did was wrong but he might have been drugged up or they might have both been ducked up and he was never actually charged. Should we hold his past of more than 13 years against him? It sounds like he wasn't even an adult yet at the time.

Thirteen years ago he would have been 24 years old. There should be zero tolerance in my opinion with regards to beating women. Not sure why you?re trying to make excuses for him.  And regarding the Bombers and their domestic violence programs, there?s zero chance the Bombers consider signing him.

Trying to drown someone is pretty nasty......but just the one incident right.

And the Bombers have a domestic violence program ? Do they have a head stomping program ?

Sounds like Ronnie Yell will be hitting free agency. BC said 13 of their remaining 15 free agents are expected to hit the market on Tuesday.

If Heath ain't back, Yell is my second or 3rd favorite option
