#Riders have released QB Kevin Glenn. #CFL via @sskroughriders

I hope the Bombers sign him.

From Jeff Hamilton: With Kevin Glenn now on the market, expect the #Bombers to be in the mix for his services. Finding a bona fide backup near top of wishlist. But might be tough to outbid Edmonton, who hosts the GC this year and will want a Plan B for Reilly.

I hope it's us but if it's Edmonton then he'll have been on the roster of every single CFL team. That's kinda cool.

Also, Glenn is bad luck for starters and can't win in the playoffs. Ergo, if signed in Edm - Reilley will get injured towards the end of the season dramatically increasing our odds of making the Grey Cup.

Does that make Dan or Dom also bad luck for starters? I mean we had a rash of injuries near the end of the season that severely affected our abilities to win in the playoffs

Nope. QB specific, also, those two will have to do it to 5 different teams before they qualify.

When Glenn was our backup QB Nichols didn't get injured.

If he signs in Edm, he won't have "played" for every team, but he will have been on the roster of every one.  When they release/trade/move on from him, he will have been let go by every team...

A modern day miracle for certain...

I wonder if three separate stints for the same team (Riders) is a record?

As a QB?  Maybe.  As a player in general, I doubt it.  While I can't cite a reference off the top of my head, there have been stop gap/insurance players who have been signed more than three times by the same team.  Pretty sure McCallum's been signed by the Lions 3 or 4 times.

Glenn told the #Riders he wanted to continue playing football, so the conversation about being a QB coach never really happened. #CFL
