Too bad about Stevens. That being said I honestly have no clue what's happening at receiver. We seem to have 5 rookies who have solid NFL experience or are looking good in camp. Where were these dudes last year?

And we keep releasing guys who have reportedly looked really good.

Stevens was hurt...so that sealed his fate...that being said...Rueben Randle could be a real gem...big time NFL experience with a couple years close to 1000 yards receiving and very strong hands and possession guy

Didn't know that. Too bad, but hopefully a couple of these guys can pan out for us.

At least White has been here consistently.

May 22, 2018 -  The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has agreed to terms with Canadian defensive tackle Jake Thomas.

Thomas has spent the previous six seasons with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, making 75 defensive tackles and ten sacks in 101 games played (25 starts). In 2017, Thomas had a career high 21 tackles and four sacks. Thomas was originally drafted by the Bombers 29th overall in the 2012 CFL Draft.

It's a one-year deal for Jake Thomas and the #Bombers. Winnipeg's 29th-overall pick in 2012 had been a free agent until today - now enters his seventh season. Some Canadian stability on interior of D-line next to Ekakitie, especially since Ian Marouf was carted off the field today.

BOMBERS CAMP REPORT - DAY 3

WELCOME BACK, JAKE:

The Bombers brought back a familiar face on Tuesday, announcing after practice that veteran defensive tackle Jake Thomas would be returning to the club. A draft pick of the Bombers in 2012, Thomas has carved out a solid CFL career since then with 101 regular season games - all in blue and gold - to his credit. He is coming off a season in which he posted a career-high 21 tackles while adding four sacks and his first career interception.

Thomas, who had been a free agent, is one of those unheralded foot soldiers whose contributions aren't lost by those in the locker room.

MORE COMINGS/GOINGS:

In addition to bringing aboard Thomas, Randle and Thompkins, the Bombers also signed defensive back Robert Priester.

Priester (5-9, 180, Wyoming) appeared in 35 games over three seasons at Wyoming, registering 103 tackles and three forced fumbles. He was part of a Cowboys squad that went 8-5 last season.

The club has also released International receiver Tony Stevens, who had been injured early in camp.

OUCH REPORT:

WR Tyrone Pierre, part of the club's 2018 draft class, was on crutches Tuesday after pulling up lame following a reception on Monday. DT Ian Marouf, meanwhile, was carted off the field on Tuesday with an injury. Head coach Mike O'Shea did not have any updates post practice.

WR Drew Wolitarsky is also on the mend, giving rookie Rashaun Simonise more snaps with the No. 1 offence. Also not practising were DL Larry Webster, LB Maurice Leggett, DE Trent Corney and DB Mohammed Seisay.

Should have kept Bennett over Dom Davis the first time!

Why isn't Amaud Gendron-Dumouchel in camp?  He's the super tall OL we just drafted...
