Whatever Manziel was trying to prove in the spring league, I don't see it.

Rusty... playing behind a disaster of an OL...  hanging his receivers out to dry...  ugly.

Offer him $80k and incentives.

I dont think he was trying to "prove" anything - I think he has just been sitting on the shelf for so long that he needed to get back into the game to some capacity to get back in the football "zone".

So, I'm guessing that he has fulfilled all of his mandatory courses and is totally rehabilitated...

Will be interesting to see how the dynamic unfolds with him coming in as #2... and I don't just mean his number...

Will be interesting to see how this changes the dynamics for this team....or whether in fact he can actually make the team....and with Masoli coming into his own as a starter!?

Massoli is a great sandlot player, a "muddier", one of the boys, great team guy, but as a QB.....Huh Probably the nineth rated guy in the league.

If Manziel can pick up where his development left off when with Cleveland imwouldmsayi irate him tearing up the league.

Furthermore, Have you ever been to Hamilton? Not sure where you can find trouble there.( Of,course Torinto is an hour away, but he would need a driver if he was stoned)  I think Manziel has figured it out.

Life as a minimum wage Office boy or a millions of dollars a year pro athlete (future NFL opportunity)
As a coach, I would love to have him on the field for what he can bring to an Offense.
( Massoli can also be great with June Jones run and shoot spread Offense, as he was last year.

Manziel's CFL contract: $122k base,  $10k sign bonus, $18k housing stipend, $10k if active 6 games, $10k for 10 games active. $10k for 14 games active. Another $120k if plays half of snaps. March 1 $75k offseason bonus. 2018 $202k base w/same incentives

Not a bad contract but it probably means trimming SMS somewhere. Vernon Adams probably on the market as we speak.

I'd still rather go after a guy like Rakeem Cato but Adams would be an improvement over Ross. I wouldnt be surprised if the Bombers just go with who they have at QB for now and if they are truly unhappy they go after Adams Jr or surprise me with Cato after pre-season is done
