According to a post on Facebook by Fans of the Winnipeg Jets, Len "Kroppy" Kropioski passed away.

So sad. Never was there a truer, more diehard Jets fan than Kroppy. He was truly a special part of every home game. My condolences to the family and friends and fellow military veterans on their loss of such an inspirational man.

98 years old though, surrounded by family- he lived a good life, it sounds like.

98-year war veteran... He must've seen some stuff and no doubt had a plethora of incredible stories.

A Canadian legend. He will be missed.
