2018 Winnipeg Blue Bombers Game Day Transportation Plan

WINNIPEG, MB., June 12, 2018 - In advance of the upcoming June 14th home opener, the Winnipeg Football Club would like to share important parking and transportation information for fans travelling to and from Investors Group Field for Blue Bomber games this season.

Fans driving to the game can either pre-purchase their parking passes or pay upon arrival in the gold, blue or value lots.  There is plenty of on-campus parking for $10 - $20 per vehicle in close proximity to the stadium.

There is a new route 7 Park & Ride location - St. Vital Centre in front of The Bay (west side entrance), which replaces the Southdale Red River Co-op location.  This was necessitated due to construction soon to commence in the Southdale Centre parking lot.  All other Park & Ride locations have remained the same as last season.

Fans should note that seasonal lane closures throughout the city may be introduced during the season, potentially increasing travel time to Investors Group Field. Always check for current lane closure information prior to travelling to the stadium. Current information can be found at www.winnipeg.ca/publicworks/trafficcontrol/laneclosures.

Fans are also encouraged to download the Waze app to their smartphones to receive real-time road and traffic information when travelling to and from Blue Bomber games.

On-Campus Parking:

-        5,000 paid parking spots on campus

-        Season parking passes can be purchased by calling 204-784-7448 or by visiting the Bomber Ticket Centre in the Bomber Store.

To pre-purchase your parking pass, visit Ticketmaster online, call our ticket office at 204-784-7448, or come to the Bomber Ticket Centre in the Bomber Store.

-        Please note that the Soccer Lot on Chancellor Matheson Road is no longer a cash parking lot, and is only available to fans who have purchased the green seasonal soccer lot pass.

Park & Ride:

-        Non-stop service to and from Investors Group Field

-        Service starts 2 hours prior to kickoff

-        Last buses leave for the stadium 15 minutes prior to kickoff

-        Post-game: Park & Ride buses load for departure at the Transit terminal outside of gates 3 and 4. The last buses leave the stadium approximately 20 to 35 minutes after the game. Final departures are announced in-stadium.

-        Cost per game: $5.00 per round trip which will be collected upon arrival at Investors Group Field.

-        Park & Ride passes for the full regular season are available at the Bomber Ticket Centre in the Bomber Store for $40 per person.
