The Loafs never cease to amaze me...only they would hire a GM that was brutal, fired and suspended by the league in Arizona and they bring him in to turn their franchise around?!?! Dear Lord, talk about desparate.. They are doomed for complete and total failure in 2027. When no current player shows up at the press conference to announce your new GM and President, you know somethings wrong. I really question just how smart Keith Pelley is as his recent hirings are disasterously poor, disasterously. I feel so sorry for all Leafs players and fans over this, they deserve better and they are in for some even tougher years ahead.

Press conference was weird, everyone looked super nervous, there was no air of excitement that comes with an announcement of a new GM, no one looked confident and excited about being brought in to turn things are. But face it, this guys a sitting duck, he has to turn this franchise around and God himself couldn't do that.

Saw Chayka and Sundin on the Kyper & Bourne show and they certainly weren't very relaxed
Got the feeling they were absolute strangers to each other and will be throwing the spaghetti at the walls, behind closed doors, for quite some time.
