I hate the Leafs with a passion but I love Tavares.

I can't believe there was talk of anyone but him for the C. The guy is a veteran, one of the best players in the league, a hometown kid who wanted to come home and be 'the guy' there, and is just a super human being.

If I were a Leafs fan, he would be my jersey. Not anyone from the Bratty Bunch.

Taylor Hall goes to the Coyotes for what will end up being, potentially, 5 players (2 draft choice spots involved) ........ Devils may come out of it in fine shape years later.
............ was sad to see him land in the Jets Conference cuz he will add value & no doubt a few points towards some extra wins
