Hobey Baker Award winner (beat Connor in the voting) Vesey had his rights picked up by the Sabres ....... great if they can sign him
Yandle's rights have now gone to the Panthers for a draft spot, not yet announced & a conditional pick, if the Panthers sign him

NHL Awards went pretty much as expected last night. Kane sure cleaned up after his career season.

for sure ........ there is No offer published by late afternoon & let's agree ........ Boston would not be silly enough to give a $7 for 7 year offer sheet

On H & L show they had a fella on, who had his own sport radio show in Montreal, say some amazing negative things about Subban.
He apparently has been hinting, for several months, to his listeners, that the Subban "good team man" persona is full of troubling ego & young rebel issues.
He exampled; broken curfews, late for team meetings, showed his aggravation with not being team Captain, his peers chose Pacioretty as their rep for the King Clancy Award ....... for exemplifying leadership qualities on & off the ice, & who made significant humanitarian contributions in the community ...... despite PK's major 10 year $$  donation.
He was somewhat adamant (sorry no quotes) that PK liked being a rock star in Montreal vs being a good team man.
However, as far as a trade ....... both teams won on the ice.

I don't think in the end either team will be "winners". We here best days are behind him and PK is PK he will for ever be a high risk player. Not a winning formula. Preds are a weird team now.

Russian Alex Radulov comes back from the KHL, where he was a star, returns now to the NHL & signs with the Canadians ..... for 1 year - $5.75 million -- WOW !!

Oilers getting Lucic is a nice move for them. Lucia to me is a funny player he is either hot hot scoring or goes on these horrendous scoring draughts. He'll fit in nicely with that forward group though. Good for them!

I agree...  But they still have zero D.

If they stay the same they will still need to score 5 a game to just win.
