Torres must have the brain the size of a pea.

Shouldn't be allowed back in the league.  Or any league at that.

Love it.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

In much more positive news that I hope doesn't get overshadowed, Joe Pavelski was named captain of the Sharks. Wish I could find the full video, but this is a 1st intermission speech down 2-0 to the Coyotes, Joe comes out and scored a hat trick in the final two periods of a 4-2 victory.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GD1okbl0-RE

Edit: Full version of that scene can be seen here from 50:53 onwards: https://vid.me/Tqvn

Just nasty, nasty head-hunting by Torres. And to see people on social media defend the act or say it wasn't a dirty hit just boggles the mind. This is the kind of stuff the NHL is trying to get rid of in order to make the game safer.

Anyways, good for Pavelski. He's a good player and a leader. He'll wear the C well.

Dustin Brown with another incredibly dirty play, as is tradition.

Link

Cooch leveling Lucic coming out of the box, luring Lucic into a match penalty, and then giving him that bloody massive grin just made my night.

It's becoming extremely hard not to be more than just cautiously optimistic about the DeBoer Sharks + Jones.

Senior NHL lawyer advised league to 'leave dementia issues up to the NFL'

http://www.tsn.ca/senior-nhl-lawyer-advised-league-to-leave-dementia-issues-up-to-the-nfl-1.376753

In an email to Bettman and NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly on Nov. 30, 2009, NHL deputy general counsel Julie Grand outlined four suggestions on "next possible steps" for the league's NHL-NHLPA Concussion Working Group (CWG).

Grand wrote she was least interested in studying retired players because they are "removed from the current issues we face? I'd rather focus on the here and now and leave the dementia issues up to the NFL!"

Not surprising whatsoever, especially from an email back in 2009.

Anybody see that goal Talbot let in? A shot from the corner goal line and he banked it in his own net, lol.

I mean does the guy have a grain of emotion within him. Seems even more robot like than Sid back in the day.

I'd much rather have Eichel at this point.

Just saw on FB Logan Couture broke his fibula at practice yesterday and will be out 4-6 weeks.

Really sucks. Wouldn't mind seeing Goldobin get a chance but I doubt it happens right now.
