I hear what you're saying, but they are made for playoff hockey. I don't think anyone touches them. I think the Toronto media over reacted to them losing to the Panthers, heck, they took them to 7 games, which is better than any other team will do.

I do not understand how the Canes could demolish the Capitals, another dirty team, play in such an organized way, and a week later play this badly.

Psychological problem? Can an entire team be defeated before the series even starts?

Canes WILL go home in 4 straight games...no way no how are they winning in Florida.

Everyone in Toronto is freaking out about the Leafs losing in 7 games to the Panthers, whereas really, it was quite an accomplishment taking them to 7 games. And then they let Shanaghan go, whereas if Stolarz doesn't get hurt and Woll the sieve go in net, you don't know how that series ends.

Bottom line, the Panthers make every team look ho hum when the chips are on the line. They're repeating this year.

It's easy to make the other team look ho hum, when the refs allow the Panthers to elbow the  Leafs number one goalie in the head concussing him, no penalty, the league looks at it and says, "yeah that's ok, we don't see a problem with it"

It stinks for sure and to hear Maurice say sarcastically afterwards that he's seen every Sam Bennett hit on replay since he was 12 was totally classless

It was the hit that changed the playoffs for the leafs and let's not call anything or fine him afterwards, absolutely gutless non call by both the refs and league office.

It seems greasy is okay in the playoffs, and it's getting it done for the Panthers. Looked at the slash by Nurse the other night. Greasy, takes out one of Stars top forwards. The NHL has let to much go in the playoffs this season.

Down 3-0 in the series it's more likely the Panthers took their foot off the gas. I don't like Carolina's chances of coming back with 4 wins in a row although I'd love to see it.

Still a tall order to get back into the series, though.
