Wow the league must be doing amazing.  Funny, our team is not filling the arena...

7.5 mil xtra just made the ask for a lot of players jump.  Sure glad 55, 44 and 37 are locked up long term.

NE27 at $8mil for 8 years not going to happen now, I don't think...
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

The mention of these potential/expected Cap Space limits are sadly, IMHO, not going to help Winnipeg to hold onto the team

The small arena and population make it difficult to make money The pure fact that the lads are paid in U.S. $$ is a killer. Our organization gets most revenue in Cdn. $$ and with the Dollar still plummeting on the world market, the pockets for our owners just may be waving a white flag soon. YUCK

Agree with your comment and can extrapolate from it that he therefore didn't earn his keep in Columbus, Winnipeg and L.A. despite having small bursts of brilliance. A very frustrating player.

The only other athlete that comes to mind that I can compare him to is Vince Carter, another player that often "mailed it in" despite being very talented and very highly paid. VC never shook his reputation for being a floater and I suspect neither will PLD.

I think the best thing he ever did for Winnipeg was to get us some very good players in the trade with L.A.

I cant help but wonder if he'll eventually revert to being a very expensive, talented, lazy slug again. Time will tell.

He's still a fraction of the player that he was "promised" to be.
My wife is amazing!

There was talk during the whole Vancouver debacle that the Canucks might trade bother Miller and Pettersson.  It will remain interesting for the Canucks going forward.

Stars pickup Granlund and Ceci. Loading up for the play-offs.

Rangers did well with the Miller grab and Dallas picked up a couple of gamers

Good luck Canucks

Certainly hope that idiot Hartman, of the Wild, gets a many games suspension, based on his history, for driving Stutzle's face into the ice.
