Man, I really can't stand the media/social media right now with regard to the playoffs. I cannot understand the insecurity complex that exists when Canadian teams don't make the playoffs to when they do. It's baffling.

I am taking in the FIRST Rd. Hawks over Preds ......Wild over Blues ...... Ducks over Flames ........ & the Oilers over Sharks.
All series I will guess go 6 games
Also Rangers over Mtl. & Sens over Bruins ..... both in 6. Then Caps beat Leafs & Pens over Jackets ...... in 5 games.

In the end ..... I'm guessing the Wild meet the Caps in the Final ....... with the Caps winning it all.

Quick stop in. Gonna be gone for a while. In E town.

City is buzzing and it was electric yesterday full congrats to San jose down 2 zip and there experience really showed. Young Oilers looked fazed. But hopefully now they know wut to expect from atmosphere here, they can feed off it. It's almost must win. Oilers where out played after 1st. But just to be back in the playoffs after life time ago it seems is amazing feeling and scene.

Good luck Colton on your quest for the cup aswell. You deserved that game 1.

Some really good hockey so far in this year's post-season.

Wild game in the nation's capital today. Huge win for the Senators.

The Capitals really seem to be playing with fire in the first round.

And Nashville is putting the fear of God into the Blackhawks, 5-0!!!!, and they ll go back to Nashville down 2-0 in games . Who da thought that!?!? The Hawks can't buy a goal and every shot seems to go in for the Preds.

The Predators are on fire. I can't believe how poorly the Blackhawks have played so far.

The Blues are playing really well. I'm shocked at how bad the Wild are playing, but I'm okay with it.

The Blackhawks finally score a couple, but lose in OT... Really surprised they're on the brink. The Ducks are doing to the Flames what they did to the Jets two years ago. Kudos to the Leafs for taking the series lead over the Capitals, who seem to be doing their bed-crapping in the first round this year. And a crazy game in Boston with the Senators taking the series lead.

An excellent first round so far.

Agreed. I haven't watched as much as I'd like but what I have seen has been great.

Am I a bad person for wanting Anaheim to sweep Calgary just because it happened to us, and because I'm jealous they made it in and we didn't?
