When his story broke, it clicked for me.  When they picked him up I thought he'd be terrific.  As we all know he was a massive dud with the Jets.

Brad Marchand has signed an eight-year, $49 million contract extension with the Boston Bruins.

Marchand was in the last year of a four-year, $18 million deal with the Bruins.

The 28-year-old winger is coming off a career season, registering 37 goals and 60 points in 77 games for the Bruins.

Same contract as Scheifele. Good for him. He's a good player.
