I personally would be fine with Rush but if you consider half time a strategic choice for the league (and they do, I'm sure) Rush doesn't work.

So true.  The HT show is to bring in the kid/youth and female audience.  I'm not sure we'll ever get a "boomer" act again.

I'd say the last "middle age or older"-friendly act was Shania.  Suits is still in love...

From a purely production and cinemaphotography standpoint I think that's probably the best Grey Cup half time show I've seen. Obviously your music preference aside, they did a really good job with it. Felt good live. Looked better on TV even just watching it now.

Yeah, I'm no fan of the music and did not know a single part of a single song, but he did the league well and we didn't look cheap/Mickey Mouse. I heard some chatter online from Americans that the CFL championship half time show will be better than the Super Bowl one.

It's too bad OLP was limited to 3 shortened song medleys. I know the opener is not going to be a long show but that felt like it was over in a snap after I had been looking forward to it all day.
