Throw Long Bannatyne

Quote from: dd on October 05, 2025, 03:44:46 AMI think the blow it up, they are struggling and have gave Dyce tons of time to turn it around and they still suck. I like Pimpleton and Crum on that roster, wish we could get both this off season, and Im sure they'd like out of loser-ville Ottawa.

In 3 seasons as the RB's HC Bob Dyce accumulated a .393 winning percentage, I wonder how that compares to O'Shea's first 3 seasons?

O'Shea won 23 games his 1st three seasons (.426) and made the playoffs in the 3rd season.

Dyce has won 17 games (with 3 games left this season), and made the playoffs last year.

Think Dyce days are numbered.

Definitely, who's next, Rick Campbell? Noel Thorpe? Qualified HC candidates are scarce.  Is GM Shawn Burke safe?

Quote from: markf on October 04, 2025, 01:35:33 PMThat play looked kind of risky to me. Not sure why riders had three defenders on one receiver, a few times. Must be that obvious.

TOR loves to drop the LB and steal those INTs.  That's one of the plays that lost us the 1st TOR GC -- remember Henoc?  Sometimes it's hard to see all of those droppers, and when they show the QB-view I can see why.  It's a confusing mess.

I guess the good QBs can make a mental picture of where every D guy is and adjust accordingly.  If they mis-guess a LBer in a mid-pass route, well, possible INT.

And thanks for nothing OTT.  You just cost us a possible #1 in W.  Thanks a lot Dru.  Nice day to throw a zillion INTs.

P.S. Can't wait until we blow SSK out of the water in Mosaic in the WDF.  Cocky dorks aren't nearly as good as their record.  They rely on a couple of tricks on both sides, other than that they have nothing.

I did like how SSK went mega BOLD on their last series.  When everyone in Canada knew it was going to Oullette, and they chucked some risky mid/short passes 2+ times.  I want to see that from my team in big games.  Do the unexpected.  Don't give the ball back.

Forgot to mention, you-know-who ref called an awful HC tackle penalty early in the game.  Complete phantom call.  Even TSN noticed.

Then later in the game you-know-who ref calls the same thing, but this time the grown ups in the building stepped in and said NO and picked up the flag.  The 2nd HC was even more phantom and JSK was freaking out how stupid it all was.

Burke should have been on a short leash after choseing Dyce over Mace in retrospect.  I like your suggestion of Noel Thorpe for HC.
