Not at all. Adams is about as bipolar as they come !!

Yes.  They've been absolutely the most consistent.  Their first loss was only because of cold/wet rain and OTT having the foresight to start their run-only QB.  Fluke.

They destroyed SSK, and us.

Their D has only started stinking since they put in Biggie.  And VAJ has only had 2 "head case" games.

If they put back in whoever was their MLB to start the season, put Biggie back on the tablet, and snap VAJ out of his head case mode, then they should go back to creaming everyone.

BC's only "weapon" is top notch execution lately.  They aren't that smart, and the personnel isn't that talented (except Rourke and Butler).  Buck is still not a good HC, IMHO.

We've had the worst luck regarding facing the healthiest version of teams this season.  SSK has had the best luck getting injury-weakened teams.

So I would fully expect us to get fully healthy and unrusty Alexander when we next face them.  Because luck

Everyone is getting better, given their situations. Nothing is clear as teams battle to overcome.  What a race?

However, the Red Blacks can't beat a team that has five completions?
Now that's bad.
Although Bombers easily outcoached Ottawa. What a mastery! Defence and that catalyst Allen!!

Now imagine if Zac actually came back? Can u imagine more that 5 completions?
Great job by Strev not to screw up. Great job by Bombers to finally ware down Ottawa in the fourth. How could they not get Demski at least one pass.?????.

Great point.  No team is running away with it, in either division.  No team is a clear unbeatable team.  Even teams that look bad, like TOR & MTL will be massive powerhouses when their real QBs return (assuming they do).  HAM looks great but I doubt they beat both MTL & TOR.

We'll be good with Zach if Hogan can scheme up some darn passes that actually work on 2nd & medium/long: can actually think more than 1 step ahead.  Even EDM could make a late run, though I don't think they have the culture or braintrust to do it.  And, Cody...

It's a funny season where nothing is as it seems, other than SSK & CGY are good.  And everyone except OTT has a shot at glory in the -25C weather @PAS on GC night.

Techno I love what you post mostly but your initial topic post was a little too doom and gloom for me.

We were on a bad slide and won against a bad team today.  Yes there are a bunch of stronger clubs than us but there is hope in our game.  I have hope if our OL can improve pass pro and we get Zach back.  Otherwise we cooked yes.

There are many things working well for the club.  Lbs are great.  Run game is outstanding.  ST are good to great.  Back end D trending upwards.  Defensive coaching is good.  Receivers are resilient.  Losing Wheat will challenge that notion.

The negativity around the club by some is a little overstated imo.  I am surprised how quick some have turned on the Bombers.  Hard to be positive when you are average and others are on the rise I get that.  But our loaf might find it's yeast late lol.  Lots of sourdough floating around at the moment lol.

My point hasn't changed much, even with the win.  I watch how BC is executing, SSK (minus the trap loss), even injury-screwed TOR & MTL, and I just don't see how we can beat any of them (if healthy) in a big game right now.

I need to see our team rack up the wins and make rapid improvement so we can start looking like "peaking" territory.  Today's win maybe moves that needle 3%, mostly because of D/ST.

Only 4 games left.  I need to see them improve to "peak" by 20% a game to reach our max peak in time for the post-season.  And it is possible!  Just as it's possible the other teams have peaked too soon, CGY & SSK & HAM especially.

I have the ultimate optimism.  I still think we can win the West!  And if not, our max-peak team could still make the cup.

Imagine week 20 if SSK hasn't won another game yet, and we've won every game.  SSK@WPG could determine who hosts the WDF!!  It's all possible and up for grabs.
