I'm not sure we've had a year where 2 guys were winning by 3-4 pts before?

Ya, bets, fantasy, pickems, etc.  A lot rides on this knowledge.  Snead they had as GTD so I can accept that (and TD prop bets would have been refunded) -- but Alexander was not listed GTD and was fully expected to start... especially since Maas has stated many times (even a few days ago) that his philosophy is to play hard into the playoffs and rest no one.

Luckily I now leave my phone browser logged into the forum here and was able to change my pickem while sitting eating my Khan.  I knew the guys would get it done if we were facing MBT -- though I might not have if you told me Strev would be crippled in the 1st quarter!

But I wasn't able to access my gamezone pickems or playnow from the stands and did get shafted a (tiny) little bit as a result.

Maybe we should all give kudos to MOS for being honest and putting in his "we don't really care about the outcome" chart instead of pretending to start Zach and then benching him when he saw the CGY & HAM game outcomes.

It would be fitting if lots of Frenchie fans lost money betting on MTL thinking DA was going to start against Strev!  Take it out on Maas!  MOS didn't lie to you!

The trick is listing guys as starting and then not starting them... where did MOS do that with DBs?  Did he not field Holm & Nichols like usual?

Bombers announced a few days before the game they were dressing DB's Ridge Texada and Major Williams, I didn't see either anywhere.  Nichols and Holm both played but Dexter Lawson played HB in place of Nichols most of the game, looks like his stock has risen to the top of the DB depth chart and he may have even displaced Bonds as the next man up.  If they don't lose anyone to FA there should be some real battles for spots in the secondary next year.  Pretty happy with the lineup of Houston, Nichols, Allen, Holm and Parker, getting harder to find a spot to slot Kramdi with Griffin, and Woodbey competing for the SAM spot.

Ah, but checking the depth chart those 2 guys were never charted.  So it was just MOS jawboning mid-week, not depth chart chicanery.  In any event, no one is changing their bets/pickems/fantasy if Texada is in for Parker!

Not quite on the same level as charting Alexander as starter and then 30 mins before saying he's a healthy scratch.
