Strev was the only one that quieted me down. Everyone/thing else had me pumped up.
My wife is amazing!

That was more like it. You could definitely see the difference. You could tell some of the Argos were confused about what the play call was. The crowd was a big factor in the outcome of this game. Yes, very interesting the power and reach of social media. Great work Manitoba! Let's do it even better next time.

Jackson Jeffcoat was in the house last night, maybe Willy was showing off for him or trying to convince him to come back.  Willy also showed up for a few minutes on the Bonfire After Dark Podcast after the game.

I agree. First game in a long time where I was more excited to have the defense or returning team trot out than the offense. There was a sense that nothing good was likely to happen on O.

Reminded me of games 2017-2019 when the Bombers would sometimes win on the back of huge contributions from the ST or Defence.

LOL.  BTW Strev's mom, Strev says he needs his clean laundry back, and would like another care package with some homemade oatmeal cookies.  He said make sure you don't forget the raisins like last time!

That's because everyone in MB read the thread and felt ashamed!

Job done.  You're welcome!

Yup, but maybe more '15-'18.  '19 we could win legit.  Before that we had to scheme the big takeaways and returns.  And tricks.  Lots of tricks.

The problem with the above is you can win, but not consistently, and almost never in the post-season.

But if it helps us win a couple while the O plays catch up, great!  O has to improve every week though if we want hope by the end of the season.

You could be right, once they acquired Medlock, Nichols and Harris, the offence became pretty consistent.

My buddy was impressed the crowd and reactions to plays.

We were the losing section in the Pizza pass.  Still everyone seemed jazzed.

Then he went on about how he had seasons tickets when the team went 0-18, and even went to the Golf Tourney that year...

There is no doubt that there are a hardcore group of fans that are here whatever.  The 9 sellouts are based on 5 GC appearances, for sure.  But I can't see us dropping back to 25k crowds, regardless results.
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

Slimy Sculpin

The team has never had a season with no wins. Since the advent of the 18-game regular season (1986), their worst record was 3-15 (twice: 1998 & 2013).

But were there ever any HOME winless seasons?

Hey, I saw Donny C sitting the next aisle over from 55.  I thought he had worked his way to 55?  Now he's more like 48?  How did that happen?  Or am I misremembering the past?

I wonder how many decades it takes on the upgrade list to get yourself the exact 55YL seats...
