Did ANYONE pick Montreal?! From my quick review we all BET on the Bombers and they let us down! Actually stunk the joint out on offence. It seems when Zach is cold the few times he has been with the Bombers he usually can't pull out of it in game. So they need to swap in Streveler quicker if the coaches notice that. The old idea of letting them play through it is a bit of nonsense with a veteran player especially when you have a good alternate option to get the team moving. Maybe a series or two and then put Zach back in. O'Shea needs to quit being stubborn in pulling the trigger sometimes. These are grown men, not children, and if their egos can't handle it that looks pretty weak to me. SUCK IT UP BUCKO! This is not backyard football!

There is what my heart wants which can differ from my mind sometimes. I am not a blind loyalist in any sport when it comes to "bets"! Even if I pick against the Bombers, I am still happy if they foil my pick!

I don't think it's disloyal to pick another team regarding Bomber games....I've been a fan for 60+ years and loyal to a T however there are times when I've picked another team to win against the Bombers....sometimes it's just a gut feeling.   I was thinking myself to pick the Als because I thought the Bombers approach to this season including the preseason games was a tad casual....just my gut feeling but other teams have ramped it up a bit more aggressively than the Bombers....I don't see them as being as dominant as they have been and Zach needs to play better if we're going to win more games than we lose... plain and simple.  Does that make me "disloyal"?

This is actually very, very true.  When Zach has stunk the joint out in H1, he usually keeps stinking in H2.

This may not always be on Zach; it could be because the opponent has put together a brilliant anti-Zach game plan.  Kind of like MTL did.

If this happens then throwing Strevie in would completely throw off the entire opponent D plan.  And that might just be enough to open up the field and change the course of the game.  And Strevie is perfect for this because he couldn't be farther from Zach in style.  I think it would be hard for a team to focus on beating both Zach and Strevie.

And I'm not one to usually say yank a guy... but in this case it might be ideal.

It's ok for Jayrock, he's one of our resident Rider fans!!  I bet nothing gave him more pleasure this week than picking against WPG, and getting it right!

Note also: CFL gamezone pickems had MTL at less than 15% I think.  So nearly everybody country-wide got hosed.  AND, we all missed a great opportunity to make bank betting on the heavy underdogs MTL...
