Wow, watch 1Q2:33 carefully, the DPI on EDM for DPIing Coxie.  There is no DPI there.  The jam, the hand grabbing, the wrestling, and the tackle are all 100% Coxie doing everything.  The EDM guy has his hands out of things nearly the whole time (which usually saves you from getting a IC/DPI when you get mugged).

Seriously, watch it very carefully, all 3 angles.  It's so egregious that the ref probably couldn't believe it wasn't DPI... like how could a REC manhandle someone like that and think they'd get away with it?

Crazy.  Should have challenged -- but it took me more than 20-30s to be certain, so I see why they didn't.  Unfair cheating by Coxie, and we need to watch for this in the future.  It's the SSK school of "cheat if you can".

I'd like to see a new rule where refs/command can flag O players doing muggings or crap like this, because in essence it's embellishing.  Except in this case it's initiated by the embellishing player, making it even MORE offensive and antithetical to good sportsmanship.  And if the league doesn't want to address it in-game because it will bog things down, make it a stiff fine later in the week.  But do something to address muggings and fakery!

Rankin is overrated. In his career, he has been tackled for a loss on more than 14% of his offensive touches. Today it is 2 TFL on 8 touches. Yes he is a threat to break a long one but it does not offset the liability that he is at other times.

Probably.  However, I believe the booth guys when they say Rankin is playing hurt.  His production took a dive basically overnight about 1.5 months back.  Like flipping a switch.  That's not just D's figuring you out.

And I think no matter how little his production he commands 1-3 "spies" on every snap.  I noticed when Leake is in D's do different things than when Rankin is in.  There's way less open in the flat for Cody with Leake.

With Rankin you really need to stress to your D that everyone runs to him.  No one stops, or jogs, or quits.  Everyone must run and work together to ensure contain, because normally the first 1-3 guys won't bring him down (when he's healthy).

I think the last couple of weeks will put the nail in the coffin of the "should have kept/started Lidster" people!

Dude will be lucky to make someone's PR if he keeps this up.
