Blue In BC

I didn't think he's see many reps on defence and yet he was on the field a lot. I've questioned his weight being more of a LB than a DB, but he doesn't look 235 lbs.

He looked like he played well but I'm not sure who was off when he was on. It did seem he took on the role Griffin had before moving to SAM this week.

Rotation of players in different sets, it's not easy keeping up with who is on or doing what.

What did anyone think of his play?

He took a penalty, assisted on a tackle, other than that I didn't notice him.  Don't know why they would move him above Jon Jones, but maybe they're taking a hard look at him before releasing him, he's at least 4th in line for whatever position he's trying out for, don't understand why they kept him in the first place.

That's what I thought earlier as well. He did record 2 DT's and 1 ST last night. J. Jones had no DT's in 3 games and only 2 ST's. I'm wondering if he's played his way off the roster.

Ayers, J.Jones, Woodbey and several Canadian LB's is a what the heck question. about our choices as DI's when we have so many Canadians.

Wow, you guys are really observant. I certainly really never noticed the guys you talked about.

Some people on here have an exceptional knowledge of our depth players and it's awesome they share it with us

I was in party mode and didn't notice what he did but did see him on field once

Yup, I'm with DM83.  Didn't notice him at all except his name being called.

Of course, I didn't see Holm even once the whole game.  So being invisible doesn't automatically equal bad ... or is it different for a LB vs DB?

The LB's are usually closer to the LOS and working against the run game and pressuring the QB. We don't always see what is happening downfield unless a pass is made against a given DB.

So LB's should be more visible like T. Jones who seems to be in on nearly every play.

As I said I was surprised to see Woodbey on the field so much. I didn't see him make any mistakes. Trying to determine the ranking of Ayers, J. Jones and Woodbey seems to have changed.

I'm not even sure we can keep him on the AR now that we have to shuffle the ratio again with Schmekel lost to 6 game IR.
