Yes but we also got back Lofton from IR. So it might mean that we won't see either of Bryant of Vanterpool healthy soon.

I suppose it could mean that Vanterpool just stays on 1 game IR for awhile. The point being is that we needed an OL on the PR while Lofton was on 6 game IR. Now not so much necessarily. PR is crowed and there will be movement this week.

It's just a PR move . Nothing to do with current starters.
My wife is amazing!

According to Derek Taylor, DT Woods officially off the 6 game, Makonzo moved back to the 6 game for 2nd time. Parker also using a crutch to support his right leg.

Bryant and Vanterpool both practiced today.

Yup, the team just wants/needs enough olinemen to get through practice without wearing out the starters.

I'm commenting on the math. Lofton is back so we were plus 1 and minus 1. So reps for OL would seem the same without needing another OL. I'm not saying they shouldn't have signed him but having another OL on the PR was the least of our worries.

However, with some expected movement to and from the PR space is an issue. PR roster is a limited quantity. We have some players coming off of IR lists this week.

This week is going to be a massive roster shuffle.

Mitchell, Lawson on the PR right now.

Collaros, Bryant, Logan on the 1 game (more, but these are the only ones I can see moving)

Chase back to PR, but that leaves 4 players in the mix tocome in, and then who goes to the IR or PR?

All NI's, so none of the NATs factor into the moves.

Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

Cooley probs goes off the AR, again. Parker is going on the IR. We added Jones for the first time last week, he was good on teams but hardly a lock.

Good chance we see Vanterpool back on the AR. Woods is definitely an option since they took him off of 6 game IR. I don't know they would do that if they plan to move him to 1 game IR?

Standard Bomber practice is 4 DT's and 3 DE's, so I expect they will move back in that direction, good for Woods to get back into action slowly.  From Stan's interview today sounds like he will play, at least one of Lofton, Vanterpool or Randolph will have to park on the 1 game, probably Vanterpool as he was out last week.

Could the new OL signing hint that we've now decided one of Vant / Ran can never be the answer at OT?

Do we usually carry 3 IMP OL on PR?  Pretend we want NAT at LG for a moment.  Assume Stan/Lofton are the desired starters.  That leaves 3 IMP PR... from my memory we usually only keep 1-2 IMP OL on PR?

The 2 NAT PR OL (normal AR "jumbo") is normal for us.

If we're positive now that one of Vant/Ran cannot ever be a "desired" starting OT (and I think this is true), then do we cut them in FA, or now?  My opinion is Ran can play RT, but neither can play LT.  That would mean Vant is the odd man out.  However, I think Vant/Ran is desired at LG for this season, so that might hint we keep everyone until FA.
