Dream Day Highlights:

Dream Kit: Each child will receive a personalized Blue Bombers jersey along with team merchandise.
On-field Activities: Children will participate in fun activities with Blue Bombers players, mascots, and the Cheer & Dance team.
Big Surprise: Every child will receive a new bed to take home.

"It's always amazing to see what's possible when organizations come together and align their values to support the community," said Christine Reimer, VP Marketing of Dufresne Furniture & Appliances. "The on-going partnership we have with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a testament to our shared purpose of making life better in our community. We know that these kids have every possibility in front of them and a healthy night's sleep is the fuel that helps them Dream Big and achieve their full potential."

"On behalf of the entire team at Sleep in Heavenly Peace Winnipeg, we are all truly honoured to be part of this incredible day once again," said Jim Thiessen, Chapter President at Sleep in Heavenly Peace. "Every child deserves a safe and comfortable place to sleep, and we're proud to partner with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Dufresne Furniture and Appliance – two organizations deeply committed to making that a reality."

Media are invited to attend on Wednesday, July 23 at 4 p.m. when the children will make their grand entrance onto the field in their new jerseys. Any media wishing to attend any portion of the event should contact the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

NOTE: The bed donation is a surprise for the children, so please be mindful not to mention this to the children or their families, and please do not mention it if you are doing any pre-coverage of the event.

Throw Long Bannatyne

What a weird name for an organization servicing children, if I ran a euthanasia clinic I might pick that name!
