OK, new controversy... were the balls doctored?  They seemed a different colour for us, and 3 usually reliable players coughed it up.

Are we lousy? We seem to have lost all but one game on the last play and usually by 3 points.
So imagine winning those three point losses we would be 6-1.

So how do we lose? Individual players don't make plays.

We should not be relying on the last play/drive to settle games.  We should be winning them outright.  Going 5-1 in turnoers, and having the CC not catch a flagrant PI that would have been at least a 10 point swing is tough to overcome.

Teams win or lose as a team.  No player or one play should decide a game.  Except when its those darned Zebras.

The footballs used by each team are the same footballs they used in practice. Teams are permitted to prep a football using a brush, tack bar, tack spray & prep conditioner. The colour will depend on how each team preps its footballs.

The 'K' balls are not prepped.

How to prep a Wilson Football

Bottom of article mentions the Omega football (not sure if it is used in CFL).
"...the Omega has extra wax and tack built into the leather. When the ball comes out of the box, the coloring will be darker, the ball will be easier to break in, and it will maintain its pebble grain for longer, giving you maximized grip."

Yes, other QBs have been pulled, if not this season then definitely last season.  WRs too, and even some defenders.

But this is probably the first time I've seen spotters pull a player who had nothing touch his helmet at all.  No H2H, no arm to helmet, no turf to helmet... nothing!

But Zach did look in sleepyland laying on the field.  Very strange.  You can still concuss in strange ways just by falling (even with no head strike), I guess.  But then they put him right back in, so he wasn't(?) concussed...

Maybe Zach took my advice about Cody School Of Writhing?  However, to pass Cody's course you have to actually writhe.  Just going lights out isn't good enough.

Refs didn't care even one iota about the push/sleep.  Also strange.

This, so much this, and Zach has never been respected by the officials in this league. They have let him get clobbered numerous times with no flags and he knows it. I think he lay there pondering exactly this situation.

Maybe he's still covid-scared.  I've seen (only) a couple of players still doing the gaiter thing across the league.

When you're running around half the game in hot, muggy weather, you want maximum O2 flow, not upping your CO2 retention.  IMHO really dumb.  But maybe it's for another reason like he sweats profusely or something weird like that.  We may never know as he'll probably never be pulled aside for an TSN interview, and he'll likely not be on the AR (or PR!) much longer.

4 teams have better records than the Argos. They are currently 3rd in the east. If not for the bonehead decision by the Bombers to not kick the FG, their record would be worse.

I stand by my prediction TOR is in the WDF.  I even bet they finish way ahead of OTT, because TOR will be a completely different team with Kelly back and they will smoke OTT in their remaining matches.

TOR is a very good team getting destroyed by a too-green QB and a Jennings-level washed-up backup Arbuckle.
