Title: CFL names true to their team
Post by: blue_or_die on February 12, 2020, 02:26:52 PM
Completely random thread idea I had while driving my 4 month old around to try and get him to sleep.

I was reflecting on free agency and noted how appropriate the name Dylan Wynn is to be playing for Hamilton (like, Ivor Wynn Stadium).

Then I was able to come up with a few more names:

- Anthony Orange in BC
- Nealon Greene in Sask
- Shannon Boatman in Toronto
- Eddie Steele in Hamilton

Any other examples throughout CFL history where a player has a name that jives perfectly with the team they play for? Any Bombers?

Well to be perfectly insulting, wasn't there some guy named Assman for Saskatchewan a couple years ago?

See, now you've gone and confused it all.  Crapigna on which team?  The Stamps, The Riders, The Als, The Argos, or The Als (part deux).

Or are they all "Crap"py teams....
