My Vikings are looking good.

My Vikings are looking good.

A couple leaks in the secondary week 1 but I have to say they are solid. Cousins looks pretty comfortable. They could make some noise this year.

I love the Vikings, but they always break my heart.

The worst game in history was in January 99, after going 15-1 losing to the Falcons in OT, after Anderson (who and been perfect all year), missed an easy FG that would ahve put the game away.  2009 Bounty Bowl was hard for the ol' ticker too.

I did not even see the Minneapolis Miracle live.  I was so used to the Vikings choking that I walked away from the TV with a minute left, and thought it was an error, when I checked the TSN website, when the score displayed 29-24.

"What went into the decision to let (kicker) Daniel Carlson go?"

Mike Zimmer: Did you see the game?

"Was it an easy decision?"

Zimmer: Yeah, it was pretty easy.

Maher is now the kicker for the Cowboy's. I wonder where Bailey is?

They signed Bailey on Monday I heard.

I had this horrible dream where the Minnesota Vikings were getting slaughtered by the lowly Buffalo Bills 27-0 before the end of the 1st half, in Minneapolis.  It has to be a dream (nightmare) right?

There DB's can't cover, and the OL is terrible.

Yeah what happened I thought their D was suppose to be one of the best?

Defence is massively overrated...Kirk Cousins can throw a ball extremely well but he seems to just have the "born loser" cloud over his head...makes mistakes at the worst times.

It's early but it looks like the Vikings could very well the "bust" of the season in the NFL.

and the Rams are good, very good...scary good...if they stay healthy look out cause they have the components to be dangerous - high powered running, passing and defence and a coach that has them motivated and believing anything is possible.

All I will say about this game is that I accidentally left Goff as the starter on my fantasy football team instead of switching him out with Phillip Rivers and my opponent this week left Cooper Kupp on his bench. What a time to be alive.

Cousins is difficult to fathom.  Has enough talent to do Drew Brees sorts of things. However his ability to execute is not that hot.

The Rams roster is absolutely packed with ringers.  Goff, Gurley, Suh, Cooks, Talib (lost a step, but still elite), Kiser, Lawler.... its a freaking all-star team.

???

He's had 1 bad game in which he still had 40 completions for nearly 300 yards and a single TD/INT.

He's third in the league in passing yards, 6th in completion %, T-6th in TDs, 8th in QB Rating.

*And two fumbles inside his own 25-yard line.

Yep, that's why that one is labeled as the bad game.

Vikings kickers are cursed!

The Vikings have played more games without Cook (starting RB) than they have played with him.  He is oft-injured.  He has only played in 7 of a possible 24 games since being drafted.

Kirk cousins looking like a born loser tonight ...can't do anything right - bears taking it to them

When the Vikings through all that money at Cousins my first intuition was. Really for him? What has that loser ever done? He is another game manager who you will never ever get over the top with.
He does not have the drive to win either. A bit of a soft player if you ask me.

Huge bust and Kirk continues to lose...huge disappointment

Overpaid loser

I said this as soon as I heard the Cousins signing. LAME DUCK SIGNING. The dude sucks. Something like a 4-29 starters career record against winning record teams. 2 more years of agony with this chump.

Zimmerman sucks to with that laughable red challenge gaff.

If I?m a Vikings fan I sick to my stomach today.

Lots of money they paid. Unbelievable. Who did they think they were getting. Minnesota likes to sign long contracts.

They had no offensive plays, no trick plays,  pass option. Cleveland looks like they are a really good team. Pittsburgh is out. Surprising to see some of the teams that made it like Dallas.

Yes, Cousins looked like Nichols. Should have kept what they had.

Keenum

Keenum

You're kidding, right?

2018 stats

C. Keenum - 16 GP, 62.3 comp. %, 3890 yards, 18 TDs, 15 INTs (81.2 QBR)
K. Cousins - 16 GP, 72.1 comp. %, 4298 yards, 30 TDs, 10 INTs (99.7 QBR)

Cousins is a considerably better QB than Keenum.
