Can't believe I m saying this but I'd put Jake Maier back in at Qb, MBT is just plain awful, pitiful actually that you're relying on someone this bad to lead your offense, he should be out right cut

Their secondary is a joke, guys just running all over the lace with nobody knowing what to do or make a tackle. Total bush league
Ottawa seems to have lost this game by half time.
I would take BMT for the rest of the season if ZC8 is out. Strong arm and gets the ball out quick. Give Ottawa a 7th round pick.

I'd go with Brown and Perkins. Perkins has shown he's s threat with his legs, if the time comes, see what he can do with his arm. He was MVP of UFL for a reason...

I'm kinda getting a "Michael Bishop with a brain" vibe from Perkins, and would like to see him get some actual real reps, but that won't happen until were eliminated from the playoffs.

The dude threw for 9 touchdowns in that MVP season. Had 1000 yards less passing yardage than the league leader.

So all they have left is "is it too rough"? My standard for this is: if he still had the ball, would they have cared if he got sacked that way? And I say no, they would not flag that if he had the ball. The pass rusher used the only tool and method of tackle available to him while being pushed around the back of the QB.
So to me there must be something we can't see, or it's just a bad call. It appears Dinwiddie still had his flag, so I'm not sure why he didn't challenge.
4Q12:28 Command pauses the game to fix the spot on the is-it-a-catch and is-he-dbc-or-still-running low-catch by OTT.
The rules stipulate what plays command can unilaterally force these pauses. I'm pretty sure a ball spot is NOT one of them, unless it's the last 3 minutes. Command can (possibly) fix the spot, but only if it doesn't result in a long pause.
This pause on my PVR is from 2.27.37 to 2.29.36. That's a 2 minute pause from whistle to whistle.
This should not be allowed. If Dickenson The Greater didn't like the spot, he could have challenged it. That's the normal procedure. Watching this game I get the distinct impression the refs and/or league do not want OTT to win a game. So many bad spots (guess which ref...), iffy RTP, other questionable calls like this one. Weird.
Is there some impetus to make sure CGY is in the playoffs so they can sell GC tickets??
Well, OTT did it. They found a way to lose once again and tie the Pirates for worst ever set of sad sack losers of the CFL. I didn't think they'd pull it off. I thought they'd manage one win. 2 shots against the worst team in the W and they still couldn't do it.
Crazy times. I still don't think they are as bad as some of the notoriously bad teams (like EDM a couple of years ago). Maybe the main problem is they are the only team in tier 3, when usually there are 2-3 basement teams. (HAM doesn't count because they were world-beaters before they lost their QB.)
Will OTT really not win one until garbage season? And will they even manage that??
